As awareness of mental health and personal development grows, many people struggle to differentiate between coaching, therapy, counselling, and mentoring. While all aim to support positive change, they each use different approaches.
Coaching vs. Therapy
Coaching focuses on the present and future, helping clients achieve specific goals through an action-oriented, solution-focused approach. It inspires and motivates, working collaboratively without giving direct advice.
Therapy delves into past experiences to understand emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. It is open-ended and addresses psychological and emotional challenges, often involving diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions.
My Approach
I am a coach with a strong foundation in psychology, using my understanding of how the brain works to help clients move forward. My focus is on the present and future. For founders and entrepreneurs, I blend coaching with mentoring—offering guidance and advice where needed while maintaining a collaborative approach.
